Episode #328
I enjoyed sharing 4 lovely cards with the Yuletide Village Stamp Set tonight on my FaceBook live. I love this stamp set because it reminds me of Christmastime in years gone by. It has a nostalgic feel with the church and the houses that create the village scene.
The first card has snow-covered houses in a circle frame. I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set. I love the font in this set.
The second card has a forest scene with the lovely country church. The trees are die cut with the large die from the In the Grove Dies. This scene reminds me of the country church we went to when our sons were young. I remember the beautiful Christmas Eve service where “Silent Night” was sung by candlelight. It’s such a special memory.
The 3rd card has a layer of Basic White Cardstock that was embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder and then cut into 3 strips as one of the layers. It has the cute little cottage stamped on the front. The sentiment is from the Greetings of the Seasons Stamp Set. The ribbon is the beautiful Silver & White 1/2″ Sheer Ribbon.
The 4th card has a beautiful Real Red layer that’s embossed with the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder. The church is layered onto a large die cut Pool Party Circle with trees behind it. The trees were die cut using the Frosted Forest Die.
