We always have a good time at my monthly studio class! Today I’m sharing 4 of the cards from class on Saturday, including a couple of fun fold cards. As usual, you can get the kits and PDF tutorial as a thank you from me when you place an order in my online store this week (read details below).
The first card I want to share with you was made with the Framed Violets Bundle. If you are looking for this bundle you won’t find it until July 1st when it will be available to customers. Of course, if you are a demonstrator you get to purchase products 4-6 weeks in advance to have time to design and create! Here’s a look at the Framed Violets card and the beautiful accompanying designer series paper (Violets in Bloom). I especially love the scalloped oval frame! I cut 2 layered pieces of 5″ x 3-3/4″ designer series paper to get the triangle shapes that coordinate together. They are layered onto Peaceful Pine Cardstock and then layered to the card base. The small floral image was colored with a Light Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Markers and the leaf was colored with a Peaceful Pines Shimmer Brush.
We used the Relaxing Waterside Bundle, Scenic Coast Specialty DSP, and Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper for this back fold card. It’s a great masculine card, for birthdays, Father’s Day, or graduation!
I CASED the 3rd card from a card I received on the Incentive Trip Swap. There was no name attached to it so I cannot give credit to the artist, but it’s a beautiful card! I love the scalloped layers (cut with the Scalloped Blooms Dies) and the butterflies cut with the All Aflutter Bundle (stamps and punch). The Secret Sea and Barely Blush colors are a great contrast and go so well together!
The 4th card is a fun fold card that was made with the beautiful Lily of the Valley Bundle and Valley in Bloom Designer Series Paper. I love how this card turned out!
