Hello Crafty Friends! I received a beautiful card in the mail this week from my friend Carol Shafer. It is a Pull Tab Card and I fell in love with the design! Carol had CASED it from Lynn Dunn at Stamptastic Designs. And of course, I fell in love with the design! As you may know I made several variations with the Perfectly Pears Bundle and beautiful Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper on my FB live this week. (See the YouTube video link below.) Each of the cards is unique and different from the others. This landscape card features the gorgeous bordered designer series paper on the front with two of the pears layered over it. The pull-out tab has a piece of designer series paper going across the middle of the tab. I used Darling Duckling Cardstock for the pears and stamped Old Olive Ink onto each pear. I also added Wink of Stella to give them a little sparkle.
This second card is made the same way with the same measurements, but it’s horizontal. Here’s a view of what the card looks like before the tab is pulled out and then after it’s pulled out. Not only is there a sentiment on the tab, but there’s a sentiment behind the pull out section.
For the third card I used the Secret Sea patterned paper for the front and Petal Pink for the cardstock. I like the combination of the two colors. I love the long die cut sprig of leaves. I used Pretty in Pink ink to stamp the pear that’s made from Darling Duckling Cardstock. I love the blush color of the pear.
And for the last card instead of layering the front layer onto a piece of 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ cardstock, I’ve layered it to the front of a 4 1/4″ x 11″ card base. the pears were made by stamping Pretty in Pink ink onto Lemon Lolly Cardstock. Then Ink up the stamp with Old Olive, stamp it off and then stamp over the Pretty in Pink with the Old Olive Ink. I really like how it turned out and having 3 different places to add a sentiment.
