Pop Up Vase Card

Today I made a Pop Up Vase Card using the lovely Inspiring Snapdragons Bundle. This bundle that includes a stamp set and dies is just what you want to make a lovely bouquet for this Pop Up Vase Card. Inspiration for this card is from the talented Sam Calcott. You can find her video on YouTube. This card measures 5″ x 7″ and I have a free Project Sheet at the end of this post with all of the supplies and measurements. There is also a link to my videotutorial for all of the details.

Here are basic directions, but see the video for better detail:

From Basic White Thick Cardstock cut a piece that’s 5 3/4″ x 7″ and on the 5 3/4″ side score it at 3/4″.

Cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock 5″ x 7″ and a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock 5″ x 7′.

Layer the Basic White Layer on top of the Basic White Thick Layer add the Spotlight on Nature Die to the upper center of the pieces and run them through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine together.

Adhere the Basic White Thick Layer to the 3/4″ flap on the card base.

Emboss the 5″ x 7″ Basic White piece with the So Swirly Embossing Folder. Adhere it to the card front.

Add the mechanism to the inside of the card (see the YouTube Video).

Using the Inspirational Snapdragons Dies, die cut 6 snapdragons (detailed die and solid die cut to go behind it).

Using the Flowers of Beauty Dies, die cut 4 pieces of foliage.

Using the Inspirational Snapdragon dies, cut two dragonflies from Gold Foil.

Build the Bouquet in the vase.

Die cut the label using the Sentimental Park Dies. Stamp the sentiment and adhere it to the card front.

Add gems as desired.
