Do you want to create a beautiful fun fold card? I have a great pattern for an interlockig fun fold and to top it off I used the gorgeous Frames & Flowers Designer Series Paper from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog! This paper pack is one of the most beautiful DSPs in the catalog. It’s been out of stock because of it’s popularity, but its back! It’s so unique because it comes with several sheets of die cut labels, floral images, and layers – so fun to use!
This card is called an Interlocking Fancy Fold Card because the large front layer slides in underneath the smaller layer and the card closes up. Inspiration for this card pattern is from Gina at Gina K Designs (see her YouTube video).Here’s a close up of the card I made with the Basic White Thick Cardstock:
I love the pre cut images from the DSP on the front. They are so easy to use – they are part of the pre-cuts that come in the Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP. The Basic White Cardstock on the smaller layer is embossed with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder.
For this card with the Pretty Peacock card base I used one of the sentiments from the Poised Peony Stamp Set. This stamp is shown in the Annual Catalog with the Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP. The featured flower bouquet is one of the pre-cut pieces from the designer series paper as well as the smaller floral sprig.
I especially love the flower die cuts on this card. Again, one of the layers is embossed with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder. It gives it such a cozy country look.
