Hi Crafters! I love the Fluffy Squirrel Bundle! It reminds me of the critters we have running up our trees in the hedgerow along our driveway. They are funny and amazing to watch – the busy bodies of the forest! The squirrels in this stamp set are made by stamping twice – first the outline (Early Espresso) and then the body (Cajun Craze). Watch my YouTube video to see how to use these stamps. This week I made 4 cards with this cute set. Three of them are fun fold cards. For this first card I cut a leaf from Cajun Craze Cardstock using the Gathering Moments dies. I blended a bit of Crajun Craze ink along the edges to give some color and depth to the leaf and then added the squirrel to it. The background for the front layers is Basic Beige embossed with the Gathering Leaves 3D Embossing Folder. I really like how this card turned out.
The second card is an accordion Fun Fold Card. I’ve used the Gathering Together DSP for all of these cards and I love it with this bundle. This card has a gift card pocket inside and lots of room for a sentiment! the belly band keeps the layers together and snug.
The 3rd card is another fun fold card. There’s another leaf from the Gathering Moments Dies on the front and 2 flaps on the inside of the card. I like how you can see outline of the layers when the card is closed.
The 4th card is an easel card that features the cute squirrel sitting up enjoying an acorn. I did not make this card during my FB live because of time, but you can see me make it on this REEL. Here’s a look a the card. It’s really cute. I also added an extra piece of Basic Beige on the back for a larger place to write a sentiment.
