Folio and Quilt Cards

I had so much fun making quilt cards and a Folio Pocket Card Holder with the Wildflower Designs Bundle and Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper from the Wildly Flowering Suite! (Lots of wild, flowers, and beauty there – lol). The Folio holds three cards and envelopes. Inspiration for the Folio is from Terri Gaines. who has a YouTube tutorial for a lovely folio that she made a few years ago.

I especially love the dies in this set and the gorgeous patterned designer series paper! What I really love is that one of dies creates a scalloped edged frame and wonder of wonders, it fits over the Quilt Card pattern beautifully (see the card on the left and the card on the right below)! Here’s a look at the card without the Wildflower Designs frame over it:

I used the largest square in the Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut the two large squares for the mat layer to arrange the 8 small square on. I used the smallest square in the Stylish Shapes Dies to create the 8 squares that make the pinwheel pattern. (I die cut 4 each of 2 different designs from the Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper.) This paper reminds me so much of quilt fabric. The center square was die cut from the 2nd smallest square in the Stylish Shapes Dies. I added Dimensionals to the back of it to pop it up.

The other two cards were created the same way except I adhered the beautiful die cut scalloped frame from the Wildflower Designs Dies to the front. Here’s a look at the Moody Mauve Card:
