Fold & Wrap Cards

Fall is in the air and along with that beautiful mum flowers in shades of bronza, purple, red, and yellow! Their beauty reflects the beauty of the season. I’ve used the gorgeous Splendid Autumn designer series paper to create these pretty cards and then accented the DSP with “mums” using the Simply Zinnia Dies.

The Wild Wheat Rustic Striped Ribbon tied around each card also adds a touch of Autumn and pulls in the touches of Wild Wheat in the flowers on each card.

The greetins I used are from the Autumn Expressions Bundle which is part of the Splendid Autumn Suite.

I’m calling this a Fold & Wrap Card because the ribbon wrapped around the card is key to the card sitting right and staying closed. Anchor the ribbon about a third of the way up on the card so it’s going across the larger area of the flap. That way it will hold the card shut.

Here’s the card with the Gorgeous Grape Flowers. These flowers go so nicely with the lavender flowers on the DSP.

For the 3rd card I used Blackberry Bliss which reminds me so much of the dark colored mums in our area.
