Hi crafty friends! Last week I showed how to make cards using the Double Vision Technique with alternating strips of designer series paper that are flat and elevated. This week I experimented and came up with Double Vision Cards with a front flap that matches the inside of the card. These are so cool and I really love the look of how the flap matches the inside of the card. I also showed how to create a finished look along the edge of the flap so the Dimensionals don’t show. You can barely see the diagonal edge of the fold on this card! It almost looks like it has a solid front. I used the new fabulous Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper for the card above. I also used the dies from the Sweet Words and Labels Bundle that’s part of the Silly Old Bear Suite. This is just an awesome suite!

Here’s what the inside looks like. There is a place for a note or sentiment on the inside of the flap.

For each of these cards I used 2 pieces of 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ designer series paper. It is cut at 1/2″ strips on the 4-1/4″ side from the right to the left side of the paper. The last strip is only 1/4″ wide, but that works good along the inside crease of the card and the end strip on the outside. Here’s one with the Beautiful Gallery designer series paper:

For the last card I used the Moonlit Flora DSP and Fern and Flora Bundle from the Moonlit Flora Suite. It’s just gorgeous! I think this is my favorite one.
