Hi Crafty friends. It’s hard to believe Christmas is just a few weeks away! Around here in our farming area we tend to celebrate with “Country-Style” decorations and a more rustic look for Christmas. The projects I shared today fit right in and I have a free Project Sheet you can download for these projects. If you’ve never made a paper pinwheel it’s all about layering the squares and staying within the shape of the template. I’ve used the Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP for these projects. As always there’s an ordering special this week that you can read about below!
I love this Pinwheel Ornament with the Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP and Gold Foil. They make a nice gift tag or ornament.
For the card below the squares a smaller. I used the smallest Stylish Shapes Die Square to die cut the squares for this card. You do not have to use dies though, you can just cut squares with your paper trimmer (which is 40% off right now)! I centered the pinwheel over the embossed card front embossed with the Traditional Wreath 3D Embossing Folder. I lightly blended Lost Lagoon Ink over the embossed wreath before adding the Pinwheel.
I’m also excited to share a new pinwheel design – a Table Runner Card. This card front looks like a quilted table runner (I love to quilt)! This card uses 2 pinwheels on the front. One is cut in half and added around the center pinwheel. The Basic White Layer is embossed with the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder.
