Sliding Storybook Cards

Hi Crafters! This week I made a new card inspired by an artist I saw on Instagram – artisstic _ world2. The artist created this incredible pull out card! You can watch her reel HERE. I adapted what she did and used imperial measurements. I have basic measurements listed below but will have the full tutorial for sale in my online store or if you place an order with me this week you will get it with your kits (read about it below).

For the cards above I used the Sweet Bugs Bundle and Cute as a Bug DSP, Lovely Arrangements Bundle and Lovely Blossoms DSP, and Easter Basket Bundle and Splash of Sparkles DSP. The open card in the bottom of the picture is of the inside of the middle card with the Lovely Blossoms DSP.

I needed small sentiments for these card so I used the Banner Sayings Bundle (stamps and punch) for these cards. Here’s another card I did with the Cute as a Bug DSP and Basic Beige Cardstock.

Here’s a look at the inside pages that pull out. They are connected together with three 1/2″ x 5″ strips of DSP (Watch the video replay for specific directions).

Basic Measurements:

4 pieces of DSP (Designer Series Paper) 2-3/4″ x 5-3/4″
3 pieces of DSP 1/2″ x 5″
4″ x 8″ Cardstock for card base scored on the long side at 3-7/8″ and 4-1/8″
Cardstock for front layer – 3-3/4″ x 3-7/8″”
DSP for inside – 3-3/4″ x 3-7/8″ (2)
