Paper Angel Ornaments

I love making these Paper Angel Ornaments for Christmas. They are easy to make and great to use as a gift tag or ornament! I used the Season of Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper to make these. This paper is beautiful with touches of gold and it comes in several different colors.

You only need a 6″ x 6″ piece of designer series paper to make one of the angels. I punched 3 circles for each angel using the 2 3/8″ circle punch and then folded them in half.

I folded a 12″ piece of trim and tied a knot. I added adhesive to the inside of one of the folded circles and then laid the trim in the middle and folded the circle in half.

I then wrapped the other circle around the top of the circle with the trim in it.

I pulled the loop through the bead and then tied a knot to hold it in place.

The last step is to adhere the “wings.” I added adhesive down the center of the folded circle and then adhere it to the back of the angel.

I think I like the smaller bead rather than the larger one for the head. Which do you prefer?

And here’s a video replay of me showing how to make the paper angels last year.

I hope you enjoy making these!!
