It’s nice to have something pretty to keep cherished memories in! I came across this Mini Album and fell in love with the size and how easy it is to make! It makes a nice gift or stocking stuffer too! But most of all, I love have something so pretty to keep special memories in! The finished album measures 5 1/4″ x 6 1/2″. Inspiration for this project is from Sara Douglass, CEO of Stampin’ Up, and Mary Knabe. I have a detailed PDF tutorial for the album that’s free with a purchase this week (see below).
I created the first album using the Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP (pictured above). This is a darling little album to keep special Christmas pictures in. There are 4 pages (1 with small flip flaps, 1 with a pocket, and 2 of 4″ x 6″ Flip Flaps) and 3 pockets in each album. There’s lots of space to write and add photos or even recipes.
I used Flip Flaps in all of the albums. Flip Flaps are clear pockets that have an adhesive edge so you can layer them easily in your scrapbooking or other projects. They come in several different sizes. I used 4 of the 4″ x 6″ Flip Flaps and 2 of the 3″ x 4″ Flip Flaps in each of the albums.
The second album was made with the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. This would make a nice album for a man. I did not decorate it because I’m not sure what I want to use it for. Each album has a piece of designer series paper that wraps around the spine.

For the 3rd album that I made during my FB live I used the unique Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper. If you have a hobby it’s likely on this beautiful paper – knitting, sewing, reading, plants, baking, etc. can be found in this paper pack! Not only are the images fabulous, but there are 2 pages of die cuts! I’ve used a couple on the front cover of this album. This will make a cute recipe book or book of memories baking with my grandchildren! The sentiment is from the Sharing Loving Crafting Stamp Set.
